Kate Foster has expressed delight at being appointed the new United Kingdom Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Somalia.
Foster is expected to begin her tour of duty as the new UK Ambassador to Somalia in February 2021.
She would be taking over from Ben Fender whose tour of duty ends next month.
Her Majesty’s government announced the change on January 4.
Immediately afterward, the former Programme Director with Save the Children could not hide her delight at the appointment.
Foster said that she was not only “honored but also excited” to be the next British Ambassador to Somalia.
