Four people were killed when a building that is under construction collapsed in Somaliland on September 23.
Reports from the scene of the incident indicate that the owner of the building was among those who died on the spot.
The building, which was being put up in Wajale town along Somaliland’s border with Ethiopia, collapsed unexpectedly on Wednesday afternoon.
At the time of the incident, more than 12 people were at the site, including the owner.
Initial reports show that at least 10 people were injured, with five of them suffering serious injuries. They were later rushed to the nearby health facilities for medical attention.
Authorities deployed fire trucks and firefighters to the scene to embark on search and rescue missions.
The cause of the crash was not immediately clear, though.
