Four people lost their lives in a clash that took place near Dolow Airport in Kismayo.
Reports indicate that clan militia forces hit the airport on Monday morning thus killing four people and wounding many more.
The person in charge of security at the facility was among those killed.
Sources intimated to the media that the clan militia forces sought to block Major Abdullahi Mohamed Osobe from boarding his plane at the airport.
Maj. Osobe had led an investigation into the terror activities in the region.
His investigations caused the death of Aden Gara Habarwa.
