Four Suspected Pirates Arrested in Jubbaland

Four suspected pirates were arrested in Jubbaland on Saturday.

Authorities in the regional state of Puntland deployed police officers to the site where the suspected pirates were making their plans.

They apprehend four suspects.

The suspects are currently in police custody awaiting investigations into their role and plans of attacking ships operating in Somalia waters.

Two of their colleagues are at large after fleeing from the police operation.

The operation that led to the apprehension of the pirates took place at a coastal area that is around 70kms to the south of Kismayo.
