Quint Group Discuss Post-ATMIS Operation in Somalia

The Quint Group held discussions on the post-African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) operations in the country.

During Quint Group’s sixth meeting held in London on Friday, the member states and organizations discussed and welcomed the post-ATMIS plans.

ATMIS is scheduled to pull out of Somalia completely by December 31, 2024.

Once ATMIS ends its 14-year presence and operations in the East African nation, a multinational force would then take over.
