Fourteen Somali students have departed the country for China.
The students departed the Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu on Monday, November 21.
They received scholarships from the Chinese government to enjoy a university education.
Dr. Hodan Osman and Fei Shengchao were at the ceremony organized to bid farewell to the 14 students.
Dr. Osman is the International Relations Advisor to the Somali Prime Minister.
Shengchao is the Chinese Ambassador to Somalia.
