A group of French journalists visited the offices of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change in Hargeisa on Monday.
The journalists, who are from Le Monde Diplomatique, are in Somaliland for a series of meetings with different Somaliland government officers.
During their visit, they held discussions with the Director-General of the environment and climate change ministry.
The DG briefed them on wide-ranging issues.
Notably, he spoke to them about the general humanitarian situation in Somaliland.
The briefing by the DG also focused on the link between climate change and the recurrent droughts in Somaliland.
