A French Senator has called for meaningful engagements with Somaliland.
Senator Olivier Cadic, made this plea when he addressed the French Senate’s Foreign Affairs Committee.
He addressed the Senate on ways of understanding the African continent.
Senator Cadic mentioned the stability in Somaliland and other achievements of the breakaway region such as ability to hold elections regularly.
Previously, he has addressed this issue in his talks with Abdirahman Yasin Mohamed, the Somaliland Representative to France.
