At least two people died and five others were injured when two rivals groups clashed in Galkayo on Tuesday.
According to witnesses, the fight was between rival militias from Galmudug and Puntland.
Additionally, reports also indicate that the fighting has not stopped. It is still underway in Taar-Roge, Mudug.
Efforts by elders and authorities to mediate between the two groups to cease the fighting are yet to bear any fruit.
Recently, the two groups fought in the same area only to stop when elders and authorities intervened.
