The leader of the regional state of Galmudug has commended residents for teaming up with government soldiers to repulse Al-Shabaab militants.
Residents and Galmudug Regional Forces worked together on Friday, June 17 to repulse Al-Shabaab militants who had attacked Bahdo town.
According to Galmudug’s President Ahmed Abdi Kharie Qoorqoor, the security forces and the residents jointly killed 70 militants.
As per the statement from the Galmudug State House, three foreigners were among the 70 Al-Shabaab members killed in the incident.
