The President of the regional state of Galmudug visited El-Garas together with Mahad Salad, the Director of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA).
President Ahmed Abdi Karie Qoorqoor was in the company of the NISA chief and other dignitaries when visiting the recently liberated town.
Andulkadir Mohamed Nur, the Minister of Defense, was among them too.
Their visit follows the recent liberation of the town from the terrors of Al-Shabaab a few days ago.
Somali National Army (SNA) worked closely with local militia to eliminate Al-Shabaab from the town that is around 40kms from El-Bur.
