The leader of the regional state of Galmudug has appointed a new Governor of the Mudug region.
President Ahmed Abdi Karie Qoorqoor appointed Ahmed Hussein Shire Bukhari the new Governor of the Mudug region.
The appointment took place on March 31.
Bukhari’s appointment takes effect immediately.
Qooqoor issued a presidential decree on Thursday announcing Governor Bukhari’s appointment.
