Ahmed Abdi Karie Qoorqoor, the President of Galmudug State, held a meeting with the Turkish Ambassador to Somalia on Friday, November 20.
Qoorqoor’s meeting with Ambassador Mehmet Yilmaz took place in Mogadishu.
They discussed several issues relating to Galmudug, including the region’s priorities and Turkish investments.
Qoorqoor informed Ambassador Yilmaz of the various ways of ensuring that Turkish remains a highly visible partner to Somalia.
He urged Ambassador Yilmaz to introduce more Turkish investments and investors to Galmudug.
President Qoorqoor extended gratitude to Turkey for the continued and value added support that it provides to the East African nation.
