President Ahmed Abdi Karie Qoorqoor of Galmudug State hosted the Qatari Ambassador to Somalia in Mogadishu today.
Ambassador Hasan bin Hamza Asad Mohamed met with Qoorqoor at the official residence of Galmudug’s leader.
A delegation comprising several top officials from Qatar was with Ambassador Hamza at the Mogadishu meeting.
The leaders discussed several issues of mutual interest and benefit to the people of Galmudug and those of Qatar.
The Middle East country remains one of Somalia’s biggest development partners.
