Galmudug State qualified for the finals of the Inter-Regional Football Tournament that is currently going on in Mogadishu.
The team from Galmudug defeated their counterparts from Puntland 2-1 at the Mogadishu Stadium on Sunday, December 27.
As has been the case throughout the tournament, the stadium was filled to the brim with excited fans cheering their favorite teams.
The tournament features teams from all the Federal Member States (FMS), including one from Benadir Region, where Mogadishu is located.
The tournament is back after a few years’ hiatus.
