Gedo Drought Relief Committee (GDRC) has distributed food supplies and essential items to vulnerable families in Garbaharey.
Members of the drought committee visited Garbaharey, the provincial capital of Gedo, on Monday, June 20 to distribute the supplies.
The vulnerable families in the region received food supplies that included wheat flour, rice, and cooking oil.
The ongoing drought in the country has placed many families at a disadvantage.
Most people are unable to find food or water for their loved ones and livestock. Crop failure has become a huge problem thus creating a hitherto unimaginable humanitarian crisis.
