Residents of the Gedo region in Jubbaland have received donations of essential food supplies.
Officials from the federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management distributed the food supplies to Gedo residents on Saturday, June 11.
The food supplies are from the Saudi Arabia government.
Saudi Arabia donated the essential food items to help vulnerable families in Gedo’s Dolow district.
Gedo region is one of the worst-hit places in Somalia by the ongoing drought.
