Fresh from his election as the new legislator for Dhusamareb’s HOP18 seat, Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre has now appointed him to the cabinet.
Prime Minister Barre appointed him the new Minister of Family Affairs and Human Rights Development in a mini cabinet reshuffle announced on Saturday.
This could bring notable changes in the focus and policies of the ministry.
Saturday’s reshuffle also affected three other ministries as the Prime Minister announces changes that will make his cabinet more effective.
