President Said Abdullahi Deni of Puntland welcomed the German Ambassador to Somalia, Thomas Zahneisen, at the presidential palace.
The German diplomat visited President Deni on Monday.
Their meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between Germany and Puntland.
President Deni and Amb. Zahneisen took the opportunity to discuss regional development, security, and potential areas of collaboration in governance and humanitarian efforts too.
Amb. Zahneisen’s visit underscores Germany’s ongoing engagement and support for Somalia’s federal states, including Puntland.
