Gorgor Special Forces have killed six Al-Shabaab terrorists in the regional state of HirShabelle.
The Special Forces mounted a military operation in Da’arow Mountain, which is in Hiiraan region on Friday, September 9.
Gorgor soldiers conducted the operation jointly with members of the local community.
Gorgor, which is a unit of elite forces within the Somali National Army (SNA), successfully killed some terrorists while destroying an Al-Shabaab base in Da’arow Mountain.
The operation is part of recent efforts by the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) to destroy the Al-Shabaab militia group.
