Sounds of gunfire interfered with the early morning tranquility of the Galmudug town of Dhusamareb on Friday.
Sources revealed that militia from the Ahlu Sunna Wal Jama’a group had made their way into the town overnight.
Nevertheless, the sounds of gunfire were not heard the whole night.
It is not clear whether government troops in the region had responded to the presence of the militias hence the reason for the gunfire sounds.
