Unknown gunmen opened fire at students of a Mogadishu school.
In a shocking incident, a group of gunmen opened fire at Hoyga Hamar School students.
The school is located near KM4 junction in the national capital city. It was also the scene of a similar incident in 2021.
Last year, a local businessman attempted to grab part of the school’s land.
In last year’s incident, he had successfully destroyed part of the school before being repulsed. The incident left several students displaced.
It was not immediately clear whether any student was hurt in the Wednesday, June 27 incident.
