Unknown gunmen shot and killed a soldier who was collecting taxes from Mogadishu shops.
The incident reportedly took place on March 21.
According to one of the eyewitnesses, the soldier was visiting shops along Suq Bocle in Dharkenley District when the gunmen accosted him.
Moments after shooting and killing him, the gunmen escaped from the scene of their deadly crime.
Security forces rushed to the area after receiving news of the incident.
The officers launched investigations into the matter though they have not made any arrest.
Furthermore, no group or individual has claimed responsibility for the incident that shocked local residents on Sunday.
