Hanifa Habsade, the Minister of Women and Human Rights Development, led a delegation comprising senior Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) officers to visit the Bay Region.
Habsade and the government delegation left for the Bay Region on February 2.
The delegation comprised the Minister of Justice and the Deputy Minister of Finance. Others included the Deputy Chief Commander of the Somali National Army (SNA).
Several government officers also accompanied Habsade in her tour of the Bay Region.
During the tour, Habsade discussed several issues pertinent to women and human rights in the region with local leaders.
