Unknown people hurled a hand grenade at the house of a judge in Bal’ad District.
Security authorities and witnesses confirmed that no casualties were involved, though.
The attack follows a similar one carried out at in the same district at a National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) station.
In the NISA incident, no casualties were reported either.
According to locals, the attacks often increase whenever mayors and senior government officials in the region travel.
The dignitaries often travel with a large contingent of soldiers, hence providing Al-Shabaab with a window of opportunity for carrying out such attacks.
