Hargeisa University of Somaliland has signed a cooperation agreement with Taiwan’s Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU).
Through the agreement, the two learning institutions are set to refer to each other as “sister universities.”
Mohamed Haji, Somaliland Representative to Taiwan, witnessed the signing ceremony, which took place in Taipei.
The agreement between the institutions defined the areas they plan to cooperate on, which include research.
They would also cooperate on students and teachers exchange programs after they signed the cooperation agreement on December 1.
