Hargeisa hosted a high-level meeting to discuss tourism in Somaliland.
Representatives from several ministries and government agencies were at the meeting.
Those present were from the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Their colleagues from the Ministry of Trade and Tourism as well as Somaliland Immigration Office were present too.
They discussed the need to improve the quality of services offered to tourists.
Those present established a joint technical committee to discuss facilitation and prioritization of tourist services.
