Stuart Brown, the Head of the British Office in Hargeisa, paid a courtesy call to the Somaliland Mission in the United Kingdom.
Abdi A. Hersi, Ambassador of Somaliland to the United Kingdom, was at the office to welcome the British diplomat.
During their meeting, the diplomats discussed ways of strengthening diplomatic ties between their respective countries.
On his part, Brown expressed great pleasure at the reception accorded him by Hersi’s team.
Additionally, he also mentioned the amazing welcome he received from the people of Somaliland when he reported for duty.
The British diplomat cited the incredible work the government of Somaliland, under President Muse Bihi Abdi, had initiated to develop the country.
Hersi reassured Brown of his government’s appreciation for the assistance that it receives from United Kingdom.
