This morning, Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud joined Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, African Union Commission Chairperson Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, and other regional leaders ahead of the Extraordinary Summit of Troop-Contributing Countries to the African Union Support and Stabilization Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM).
The high-level meeting seeks to address critical security and operational challenges in Somalia, reinforcing regional cooperation in support of peace and stability.
