Dr. Ali Haji visited the mother who gave birth to a set of quadruplets in a Mogadishu hospital.
Dr. Haji, the Minister of Health and Social Welfare, visited Maryan Mohamed Hassan and her children at the Banadir Hospital, Mogadishu.
He visited them on Friday.
The 38-year-old Maryan created a bit of history by giving birth to quadruplets in a nation where such occurrences are a rarity.
Maryan and her four daughters are in a good condition.
Dr. Haji commended the hospital’s personnel for their dedication and excellent service to ensure that Maryan delivered her babies smoothly.
