The federal Ministry of Health confirmed that it has fully reformed health services in Banadir Region.
On February 7, the health ministry stated that it started rebuilding and reforming the region’s health services in 2012.
As part of the reformation exercise, the ministry also adapted the Referral Health System Model (EPHS).
Additionally, it has made it possible for all health facilities at the district to report to the digital health system, which is known as Health Management Information System (HMIS).
The health ministry announced these achievements while handing over the management of health services in the region to the Banadir Regional Administration (BRA).
