Somalia’s Ministry of Health has trained 130 healthcare professionals from various facilities in the Southwest state.
The professionals were from 66 Southwest health facilities.
They went through the training that was only possible through the combined efforts of the health ministry and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) also worked closely with the ministry and UNICEF to train and equip the workers with fresh skills.
