The heavy rains that continue to rock Somalia will cause floods.
The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) issued this reminder to members of the public on Saturday.
Khadar Sheikh Mohamed Nur, SODMA’s Director of Early Warning on Public Danger, issued the reminder to Somalis around the country.
Nur warned Somalis to be extra vigilant as they go about their daily activities.
The Director of Early Warning on Public Danger urged Somalis to follow the instructions repeatedly issued by the agency.
He added that El Nino is behind the heavy rains that threaten the nation with floods.
