Hendrik Pieter has taken over as the new coach of the Somali men’s national football team.
Somali Football Federation (SFF) appointed Pieter to coach the men’s national team from February 6.
The Dutchman signed a one-year contract with the SFF.
The 51-year old Dutchman has extensive experience working with various football teams on the African continent.
In the recent past, he has coached Kenya’s AFC Leopards.
Other clubs that he has coached include Highlanders (Zimbabwe), FC Cape Town (South Africa), Platinum (Zimbabwe), and the Eswatini national football team.
