Heritage Institute for Policy Studies (HIPS) is scheduled to hold its annual forum in Somalia for the first time ever.
The Institute’s forum is penciled to start from December 29.
Already, the organization has sent letters of invitation to Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) and opposition politicians.
Several stakeholders as well as representatives of international community and the civil society organizations in the country are expected at the forum.
HIPS annual forum will be taking place in Grower, the administrative capital of Somalia’s semiautonomous region of Puntland.
The organization has said this year’s forum will seek answers and ideas on how Somalia moves out of the protracted transition expected in 2025.
