The Governor of Hiiraan region is once again leading the military onslaught against Al-Shabaab militants.
Governor Ali Jeyte has been pictured severally joining government troops in security operations against Al-Shabaab terrorists in the region.
He joined the military in the latest operation on Saturday, September 24.
The military is in the region undertaking the fight against the militants who have been in the regional state of HirShabelle for years harassing, extorting, maiming, and killing local residents.
Governor Jeyte has vowed not to stop until the military vanquishes Al-Shabaab in the area.
