On Sunday, HirShabelle State President Ali Abdullahi Hussein Gudlawe visited the frontlines in the Qurac-Madobe, Warciise, and Aqab-Duca areas to assess the ongoing operations against terrorist groups.
During his visit, he praised the efforts of the Somali National Army (SNA) and local militias, often referred to as “local heroes,” for their bravery and commitment in combating terrorism.
President Gudlawe emphasized that HirShabelle State must not become a safe haven for terrorists and reiterated the importance of unity and collaboration among security forces and local communities to eradicate extremist elements.
