HirShabelle President Reshuffles His Cabinet

President Mohamed Abdi Waare of HirShabelle State has reshuffled his cabinet and appointed new ministers.

During the reshuffle, President Waare relieved several ministers of their duties. He also brought in a new set of ministers to replace those he sacked.

In a decree issued from his office, President Waare said that he had sacked the ministers of Education, and Youth and Sports.

Also sacked were the ministers responsible for Water and Energy as well as Planning and International Cooperation.

Ismail Mohamed Noor will now act as the new minister in charge of Planning and International Cooperation. Mohamed Abdalla Ali will now take over the Youth and Sports docket.

The new Minister of Education will be Abdullahi Abukar Hussein, as Salah Mohamed Hassan takes charge of the Ministry of Water and Energy.

President Waare’s office is yet to issue any reason or explanation for dismissing the former ministers in his administration.
