HirShabelle President Visits a Newly Liberated Village

The President of Somalia’s Hirshabelle State, Ali Gudlawe, visited a newly liberated village as part of his tour of areas recently freed from militant control.

President Gudlawe and his delegation were at Masjid-Ali Gadud, a village that federal and regional forces recently liberated from Al-Shabaab.

This visit highlights ongoing efforts to stabilize and rebuild these communities, emphasizing the return of governance and support to local residents.

Officials from the local administration joined the residents of Masjid-Ali Gadud village in according President Gudlawe a warm welcome during his Sunday visit.
