Hormuud Telecom has confirmed an airstrike attack on its site in Saakow.
The firm stated that the attack took place on the night of Friday, June 16.
Hormuud added that human casualties were reported.
However, the firm stated that none of its staff died in the shocking incident.
Some of the effects of the attack included disruption of telecom services and destruction of property.
“Emotional distress to the local community and our staff was quite significant,” read the report.
Consequently, thousands of residents are unable to access network that they need for daily living.
