Hormuud Salaam Foundation (HSF) has donated cash of up to $350,000 to help drought-stricken families in Somalia.
The foundation, which is part of Hormuud Telecoms, made the donations on Thursday, February 17.
The funds would help vulnerable families in 19 cities across the East African nation.
According to a statement from Hormuud, the donation represents the first phase of relief efforts the telecom intends to implement in Somalia.
