Hormuud Telecom has launched the new 5G network in Somalia.
As the largest telecom firm in Somalia, the firm announced the launch of the 5G network this week.
The network is now available in nine centers covered by Hormuud around the country.
On Thursday, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud attended the unveiling in Mogadishu.
According to the telco, the network would enhance mobile money services for clients.
