A fuel tanker belonging to Hormuud Telecom went up in flames in Mogadishu following a suspected case of terror attack.
The tanker was destroyed in an improvised explosive device (IED) explosion that occurred in Mogadishu’s Heliwa district on Monday.
It is not yet clear whether there were any casualties.
Lately, Hormuud’s assets have come under increased terror attacks. With this incident, the firm has now faced 12 suspected terror attacks in the last 40 days.
