A huge explosion has hit Somalia’s capital of Mogadishu early on Saturday morning.
According to eyewitnesses, the explosion occurred when a car crashed onto one side of the compound adjacent to the port.
The incident took place at around 7.30am today.
Details remain scanty although emergency personnel have arrived at the scene. Local police have promised to divulge more details later.
However, no group has claimed responsibility for the incident.
