Abdullahi Salad Hussein has taken over office as the new Director of Finance at the Ministry of Health.
Hussein took over the reins of office in a handing over ceremony in Mogadishu on January 27.
He takes over from Mohamed Abdulqadir Hersi.
Dr. Fawziya Abikar Nur, the Minister of Health, attended the handing over ceremony as the chief guest.
During her speech, Dr. Nur congratulated the new Director of Finance.
She also commended the health ministry for taking progressive steps in making the procedures for appointing new officers fair, competitive, and transparent.
