Officials from Somalia’s Immigration and Citizenship Agency (ICA) have completed a five-day training program in Tanzania focused on passport examination and facial recognition.
This training, which they finished on Friday, is part of Somalia’s ongoing efforts to enhance the skills of its agency’s frontline staff, aiming to improve border security and combat identity fraud.
By equipping officials with advanced expertise in identification techniques, Somalia seeks to bolster its immigration control systems and ensure more secure processing of travelers.
