Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) remains committed to fighting violent ideologies in the Horn of Africa region.
IGAD’s Center of Excellence for Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (ICEPCVE) reiterated its commitment on Sunday.
The organization offered this reassurance as it joined the rest of the world in celebrating the International Day for the Prevention of Violent Extremism.
