The Independent Constitutional Review Commission (ICRC) of Somalia has launched an online platform to engage the public in the ongoing constitutional review process.
Members of public can now share their thoughts and ideas on the review process via icric.gov.so, which was launched on Friday.
Those sharing their ideas can do so in two languages: Somali or English.
This platform allows Somali citizens to share their ideas, suggestions, and feedback on the draft constitution, ensuring broader participation and inclusivity.
The initiative aims to foster transparency and a sense of ownership among the Somali people in shaping the nation’s legal and constitutional framework.
The commission encourages citizens, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders to actively contribute to the discussions to build a robust and representative constitution for Somalia.
