Internally displaced persons(IDPs) in Bakool continue to receive outreach medical services from a non-governmental organization (NGO).
Residents of IDP camps in Wajid district in Bakool received a visit from African Relief and Development (ARD) on Saturday, November 5.
The ARD-African delegation visited the camps to provide lifesaving health services to the IDPs.
Most of the IDPs at the Wajid camps are from communities made vulnerable by a combination of different factors in the region.
Most of them were driven to the IDP camps by the ongoing drought and conflicts.
They face many health challenges hence the decision by organizations such as ARD-African to reach out to them with lifesaving medication and medicine.
