An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) exploded near Afrik Hotel in Mogadishu on the night of February 6 killing one civilian.
Security agents concluded that Al-Shabaab had planted the IED near the hotel.
It is the second time that Afrik Hotel has come under terror attack in the last one week.
On January 31, it suffered a deadly attack that caused the deaths of around 6 people while injuring dozens more.
Two days ago, the hotel reopened its doors for customers.
In Saturday’s attack, one civilian was killed at the site of the explosion. Another civilian was injured.
Reports indicate that ambulances have been deployed to the area to transport the injured to hospital for medical attention.
